Report of the national scientific conference: Protocoenobium Ordinis Fratrum Minorum in Polonia. History of the Monastery and Church of St. Bernardine of Siena in Cracow, 1453-2023, held September 7-9, 2023, at the Monastery of the Bernardine Fathers

Abstract

On the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Our Lady of Sowing), September 8, 2023, marked 570 years since the foundation of the Bernardine monastery in Krakow, the first Monastery of Observant Franciscans in Poland. For this reason, the idea of commemorating the anniversary with a scientific conference was born in the circle of Bernardine friars of Krakow. This article is a report on that conference.
