Jerzy Flaga – Prof. (Emeritus), Ph.D., born in 1934. In 1957-1962 he did his master's studies in history at the Catholic University of Lublin. Doctoral dissertation entitled "Działalność duszpasterska zakonów w drugiej połowie XVIII wieku" (Pastoral activities of religious orders in the second half of the 18th century), defended in 1981. Habilitation dissertation entitled "Formacja i kształcenie duchowieństwa zakonnego w Rzeczypospolitej w XVII i XVIII wieku" (Formation and education of religious clergy in the Republic of Poland in the 17th and 18th centuries) - 1999. Employed at the Catholic University of Lublin since 1962, at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the Catholic University of Lublin since 1999. Head of the Department of the History of Administration from 1999-2008, and then associated with it on the basis of a contract for work (2008/2009-2009/2010).
